Head of Digital Marketing, BT Business
I have established myself as a senior leader adept at building high-performing teams who work with Marketing Technology in B2C and B2B, client and agency side.
My career has been driven by a passion for transformation, innovation and strategic alignment of business goals with customer needs. My ability to build rapport and inspire others has been crucial in retaining top talent, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-quality results.
Currently, I am Head of Digital Marketing for BT Business, I designed and built a new digital marketing organisation from scratch. I am empowered to transform our digital marketing capabilities, placing customers and colleagues at the heart of our strategy. I designed the team to eliminate silos and promote a holistic approach across data, media, email, mobile, print, and our website. I am leading a multi-million £ project to transform our MarTech estate, reducing from 4 marketing automation platforms to one strategic marketing automation platform that will enable us to deliver exceptional digital nurture journeys for our B2B prospects and customers from Sole Traders to multi-national Corporates. To build on this, we have a 2-year roadmap in place for multiple proof of concepts for new platforms to increase creative diversification, optimise media budgets and optimise lead quality.
As Client Services Director at a Digital Marketing agency, I honed my technology and data skills, building data solutions, websites and data and logic driven customer journeys for high-profile clients, including Hyundai, Public Health England, RBS, and Bupa to drive client growth, retention, and improved customer experience. As Marketing Director for UK and Europe at Asurion, I built and led a diverse, multi-lingual team. I had a vision for a transformational, digital-first customer experience; building a secure portal that would enable customers to self-serve and view their mobile phone insurance T&C’s, check their excess fee and access any communications they had previously received relating to claims or admin. This involved bringing together Marketing data and content and Operations data and content, to build an engine that worked real-time via API feeds between three parties, using over 1000 rules to drive the right content to the right customer on the right network at the right time. Resulting in over £1.2m savings on print. My career at EE, Orange, and T-Mobile was equally impactful. I managed CRM planning and campaign management for a 27-million customer base, delivering remarkable ROI and leading the successful launch of 4G services across the UK.
In addition to my professional achievements, I am deeply committed to personal well-being. I have almost completed 300 hour yoga teacher training and am a qualified meditation and breathwork guide. I am completing the BT Business School mini-MBA and I’m a member of the DMA Email Council, where we shape the future of email marketing and the DMA AI Taskforce, where we shape the future of AI in Marketing. This commitment to continuous learning and personal growth reflects my passion for inspiring others to develop a growth mindset.
